EG Industries Berhad was incorporated on 14 August 1991 in Malaysia under the Companies Act, 1965 as a private limited company. The company was converted to a public limited company on 16 October 1992 and listed on the Second Board of the KLSE on 27 September 1993 as an investment holding company. Through its two largest subsidiaries SMT Technology Sdn Bhd at Malaysia and SMT Industries Co., Ltd at Thailand, the company specializes in the provision of electronic manufacturing services ("EMS") for world-renowned brand names of electrical and electronic products for several industries including consumer electronics, ICT, medical, automotive and telecommunications.

Listed as one of the top 50 EMS players in the world, we provide services in original equipment manufacturing and original design manufacturing with full turnkey solutions for completed final products assembly (box build), printed circuit board assembly and modular components assembly.

With over 20 years of operating history, EG has become one of the world’s leading Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) and Vertical Integration provider. Currently, we have three manufacturing facilities in Kedah, Malaysia and Prachinburi, Thailand with workforce of more than 2,000 employees to serve a wide customer base spanning Malaysia, Singapore, Europe, United States and Thailand.

Plastic Injection and Molding

1. All equipped with robotic arms and conveyor system for greater process stability.

2. Using dehumidifiers for material preheating to ensure the raw material properties are not deviated through hydrolysis.

3. All new hybrid machines for process stability.

4. Individual hopper for every machine with material suction, to prevent foreign material mix within the hopper
