Tungsten Carbide Dies (TC) are widely used in wire industry. They are used in various drawing applications especially for steel wire drawing. Wire drawing is a metalworking process used to reduce the cross section of a wire by pulling the wire through a single, or series of, drawing die(s). The dies are placed in a steel casing with tungsten carbide as inner ‘nib’. We offer tungsten carbide dies in a large range of nib and hole sizes as per customer’s requirements.

PCD wire drawing dies use polycrystalline diamond (PCD), a synthetic material which provides superior resistance to cracking and wear. The dies can be used for a wide range of drawing applications in ferrous and non-ferrous wire drawing applications. They are the better choice for high precision and long life wire drawing dies.
